World's Greatest Shave 2011

Seven brave souls from Alliance Equipment Finance took part in this years World's Greatest Shave in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.

 

Not all went down the path of shaving their noggins bald, some were creative in the way they approached their involvement.

 

As you'll see from the photo's below. We had a few scary inclusions with the Mad Max style Mohawk for Jurgen and Bernie, whilst Erika's design looked like a work of art. Jack from our Melbourne office was quoted as saying "I don't have enough hair to shave...", so his efforts focused on harping back to the 80's VFL Mullet (strangely, it seems like an improvement!). While Don, Craig and Dugald went for the all out bold scalp.

 

Thank you to all the Alliance Equipment Finance brave participants and thanks to all who supported the teams fundraising efforts. This years result was a phenomenal $1859.30.

 

A big thanks also goes out to Cordony Hair for Men & Women located in the Macqurie Centre, who donated their time to shave the NSW teams heads!!

 

 

About World's Greatest Shave

 

The Leukaemia Foundation World's Greatest Shave is one of Australia's biggest fundraising events.

 

Money raised is used by the Leukaemia Foundation to fund free services to support patients and families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders. It also funds blood cancer research to find better treatments and cures.
