AEF staff complete the 2010 GCC

Global Corporate Challenge 2010 draws to a close...

We started our voyage together in Red Square, Russia. Sixteen weeks, 9,195,723 steps and almost 6,000kms later we have crossed the finish line at Location 104, New Orleans, USA.

The journey for our team has seen three pregnancies, the birth of two babies and many overworked/replacement pedometers. We smashed the daily target of 10,000 steps averaging 11,865 steps per day.

We learnt about new places as we travelled virtually from location to location and provided each other with the support and motivation to keep us moving as a team. Most importantly we have established healthy habits that will continue outside of the challenge.

It has been a fantastic journey and we will be back next year with final destination Antarctica firmly in our sights!
